Position Summary

Enter all orders for Garden State Cold Storage and route orders correctly

Essential Job Functions

• Must enter and confirm all orders accurately and route them to the Shipping department
• Daily: Answer all e-mails promptly regarding orders or other customer inquiries.
• Review/resolve customer inquiries or route them appropriately
• Answer telephone calls promptly and direct them to the appropriate department
• Assist with E-Filing
• Perform job duties accurately (A list of job duties will be provided)

Qualifications

• 2 + years Data Entry experience
• Associate degree: Business or other relative discipline
• 2+ years Customer Service experience.
• Proficient in using telephones, fax and Microsoft Office Applications.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Working knowledge of warehouse operations
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions – furnished in oral, written form.
• Good interpersonal skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is subject to the following work environment:

• The employee may be subject to both inside and outside environmental conditions.
• The employee is required to work in a normal office environment.
• Occasionally the employee may be subject to extreme cold if he/she enters the warehouse.: Temperatures on the dock typically range between 35-40 degrees Fahrenheit.
