Garden State Cold Storage’s focus is to bring ease to the process.
Our 2-step process, which includes an email and a phone call allows for our customer service team to move forward with your order. For clients that are in a pinch, one-hour emergency pickup service is available.
Inbound Deliveries
Instructions and requirements for inbound deliveries to Garden State Cold Storage are as follows:
Step 1: Email or Fax
Email or fax your breakdown to the facility that will handle your product arrival:

Step 2: Call
Call to make an appointment to have your product delivered to the facility of choice:
- Newark, NJ: 1.973.270.2653 Ext. 214 (Option 1)
- Carteret, NJ: 1.973.270.2653 Ext. 252 (Option 2)
Additional Guidelines:
- There is a minimum 12-hour prior notice of any inbound product to Garden State Cold Storage – We accept truckloads / containers.
- Inbounds must include breakdowns, packing lists, or item and piece counts.
- Please attach to the Receiving Form or email with your order.
- Gensets are required on all frozen containers being delivered to Garden State Cold Storage.
- Include any further unloading instructions if needed. (Additional charges may apply.)
Outbound Orders
Instructions and requirements for outbound orders from Garden State Cold Storage are as follows:
Step 1: Email or Fax
Email your order form with Lot Numbers clearly marked to:

Step 2: Call
Call to make an appointment to have your product picked up from the Garden State Cold Storage facility where your product is currently stored:
- Newark, NJ: 1.973.270.2653 Ext. 214 (Option 1)
- Carteret, NJ: 1.973.270.2653 Ext. 252 (Option 2)
Requirements:
There is a minimum 12-hour prior notice of any outbound order releases from Garden State Cold Storage.
- Orders must include a Lot Number and/or Item Code and description along with quantities needed.
- Please attach to the Order Arrangements Form or email with your order.
- Drivers picking up frozen products must maintain a stable temperature of 0ºF or -18ºC from the orientation of shipping to the truck.
- Include any further shipping instructions if needed. (additional charges may apply)
